Setting Up and Using Your Manager Dashboard (Support for Managers)

We're excited to offer a new dashboard for managing your direct reports, making it even easier to take a quick look at your direct reports' engagement with Limeade Listening!

Note: For individual managers to see the Dashboard in their navigation bar, they will need to have at least five or more employees assigned to them, including both direct and indirect reports (e.g. two direct & three indirect reports). If a manager has less than five employees assigned to them, that manager will not see the Dashboard page.

Main Manager Dashboard

Once your leadership team has turned on the Manager Dashboard for your organization, you will see a new Dashboard field in the left-hand navigation pane, and the Survey Results widget will be enabled by default.

If you're already an Admin or Super Admin with five or more direct reports, this will be familiar to you as it is styled like your Admin Dashboard. If not, then keep reading!

Adding New Widgets to your Dashboard

To add more widgets to your dashboard, click on the green Add New Widget button (shown in the above screenshot). On the next page, you'll see all of the available widgets that you can add to your dashboard*. There is also an option to submit a request to have widgets added in the future.

( ! ) The collection of widgets will only display the ones your leadership team have requested to be turned on. If you do not see one of the widgets pictured above, reach out to your leadership team to inquire.

Select a widget you'd like to add and click on it to configure it to best suit your needs.

  • Name: You can change the name of the widget if you'd like, to whatever you want to call it.
  • Show main metric for: This is your primary metric field, shown on the left-hand side of the widget, in larger font.
  • Compare with: This is a secondary metric, used for benchmarking, shown on the right-hand side of the widget, in smaller font.
    • All My Teams: This is all of the employees under the manager's full line of reports.
    • Manager Name's Teams: For comparing to another manager's teams.
    • Employee Name's Teams: For a smaller team under a manager's supervision.

Further Customizing your Widget

The Edit option (three vertical dots) allows you to Edit an existing widget in your dashboard to make changes, while the Remove option lets you delete the widget from the dashboard.

You can also rearrange the widgets by dragging & dropping them higher or lower on the dashboard, and even resizing the widgets if you want.

Reviewing Your Data

When you see empty or blank statistics in a widget, it means that either the survey is active and still collecting data, or it means the survey has been closed out but there were not enough responses recorded to display data, in order to protect the anonymity of the employee participation.

There are also tool tips that you can click on (black circles with white 'i's in them) for more detailed information.

Survey Results Widget

( !! ) Regarding the Manager Dashboard Widgets and the Engagement Survey specifically -- Data will only populate if the survey is sent out to All Company. If the Engagement Survey is sent out to a custom audience or to saved groups, the widget will not populate any Engagement Survey data.

This widget in particular has some extra information for you, which is why it's a fairly full-screen widget. It allows you the option to scroll between different surveys at a quick glance, without having to fully edit the widget itself.

For surveys with more than one question, you can also scroll through the different questions within it to see the more specific results for that question.

By default, you'll be shown the Results Details tab, but you can also switch over to the Responses tab.**

( !! ) If you filter your results, you won't be able to see the Responses, in order to protect the anonymity of your direct reports.

The Manager Experience will continue to be updated with even more enhancements over the coming months. Stay tuned for versions 1.1 and 1.2, releasing in 2023!
