Benchmark Engage Survey Results

Ever wanted to compare apples to apples with other organizations that are within the same industry as your own? Industry benchmarks can help you do it. We understand the value of understanding where your company fits within the spectrum of a competitive environment, so this is exactly why we developed a way for you to see exactly how you stack up against companies that share the same industry as your own. Be it healthcare, technology, marketing or finance, we have got a plethora of industry options to choose from.

Select your industry

We have already selected a default industry for you as a part of the initial configuration, however, if you feel there is another industry that better fits your business, you are welcome to change it as you see it fit. In order to protect the integrity of the benchmarks, admins can only change the industry designation one time. If you need to update your industry more than once, please contact our Support team by clicking this link

View or adjust your industry by going to the Company page in the Settings tab and using the industry dropdown menu. Choose an industry that best fits your organization and click Update to finalize your selection.

Please note that only Super Admins and Admins can change an organization's industry. Group Admin and Viewer roles are not permitted to do so.

Now that you have updated your industry, your future surveys will show your updated Industry Benchmark. We will retain your previous industry designation for past survey results and your new industry will only apply for surveys going forward.

Benchmark results

Limeade Listening offers two benchmark measures for scale and boolean questions that come from the question bank. Unfortunately, custom questions cannot be benchmarked since the question is totally unique to your organization.

The first measure is the Industry Benchmark, which is the average score for this once particular question, for all organizations using Limeade Listening who have designated the same industry in their settings and have asked that question in the last six months. This figure allows you to compare your organization's average for a particular question to other organizations within the same operational environment. For example, every industry has different traits and shared commonalities. Certain industries experience high turnover, others rapid growth, and some welcome stability. You want to be sure that you are comparing Limeade Listening results to organizations within the same industry, with the same experiences, to see exactly how your culture measures up. Understanding where your company fits within the competitive landscape can either help you make adjustments to improve or celebrate the fact that you're ahead of the culture curve.

The Overall Benchmark is the average score for that particular question, for all organizations using the Limeade Listening platform that have asked this question in the last six months. This is just a general number that can be used to compare your results to those of the other hundreds Limeade Listening customers, regardless of industry.

Benchmark availability

Benchmarks are available for Limeade Listening-created questions only. However, they are available for both Pulse Surveys and Flexible Surveys.

Pulse Surveys are sent out either once a week, once every two weeks, or once every four weeks depending on the cadence you have configured. Surveys will open without any benchmark information, and data will be made available after a short collection period according to this timetable:

  • Every week: Surveys are sent on Wednesdays, benchmark data is available on Fridays, and a notification is sent to administrators at 10:00 am on Fridays by timezone.

  • Every other week: Surveys are sent on Wednesdays, benchmark data is available the following Monday, and a notification is sent to administrators at 10:00 am on the following Monday by timezone.

  • Every four weeks: Surveys are sent on Wednesdays, benchmark data is available the following Wednesday,  and a notification is sent to administrators at 10:00 am on the following Wednesday by timezone.
