Deliverability issues are no fun for anyone. We use an email server client that can sometimes be filtered by some companies' IT departments, which prevents our emails from getting to you (albeit very infrequently). Following these steps will ensure that you will never have to worry about TINYpulse emails ending up in your junk folder.
Add a safe sender in Gmail
From your inbox, click Contacts (either in the Mail drop-down menu or in your Google navigation menu on the top of the screen).
On the Contacts page, click the Add Contact button and enter the address email@example.com.
Add a safe sender in Outlook 2010
In Outlook 2010, under Home, click on the Junk drop-down.
Select Junk E-mail Protection.
The pop-up will have three sections. Click Safe Domains.
Enter "tinypulse.com" in the box.
Click OK to finish.
Adding a Safe Sender in Outlook 2003-2007
In Outlook 2003-2007, under Home, click on the Junk drop-down.
Select Junk E-mail Options.
Click on the tab for Safe Domains and click Add.
Enter firstname.lastname@example.org in the pop-up and click OK.
If the safe sender precautions above didn't work, reach out to your IT department to whitelist TINYpulse on the email server. Be warned, you may want to copy and paste the info into an email for your IT department to take care of if you do not have admins access to your company's email client.
Add our email@example.com email to your safe list as per the instructions above.
Add the following Mandrill App IP address to your safe list (that's the email server that we use to send the surveys): 22.214.171.124
Hopefully, the information above solves your deliverability issues. If you still continue to have problems, please reach out to our Support team by clicking the link here.
TINYpulse Email Outreach Policy
TINYpulse will NEVER:
Send surveys or transactional emails to people who do not explicitly have a TINYpulse account. For example, if your organization has 1000 employees but only 300 of them have a TINYpulse account, only those 300 will ever receive TINYpulse surveys, reminders, admin summaries, etc.
Use a company's domain for widespread email marketing. Marketing materials are only ever sent to people who have explicitly signed up to receive them.
Please let us know if you or anyone at your organization believes you've received a TINYpulse email in error so we can look into it. Just reach out to our Support team by clicking here and we will get back to you within one business day.
