Change Your Rating Frequency

Did you know that you can change your goal rating frequency?

The default frequency to review goals in Coach is once a week, but as an administrator you can request to change your rating period by reaching out directly to your friendly Customer Success contact, sending a message to our Support team, or opening the Help window in TINYpulse to speak with someone from the team.

Please note that updating the rating frequency will affect all teams in your organization. Companies should be aligned in objectives so everyone will rate their goals on the same schedule.

Rating frequency and reminders

  • Weekly: This is the default rating period. Everyone in your organization will receive a "Time to rate!" email and mobile notification at 8:00 am on Monday mornings based on your timezone. For those people who have not completed their ratings early in the week, they will receive a reminder email and notification on Fridays at 8:00 am. Folks who have completed their entries in advance will not receive any notifications.
  • Bi-Weekly: Rate goals every other week to give employees more time to make progress. Email and mobile notifications to rate goals are sent on Monday mornings at 8:00 am by timezone. And reminder emails and notifications for those who have not yet submitted their ratings will be sent on the second Friday at 8:00 am. For example, I get a "Time to rate!" notification on Monday, April 4th, 2016. If I do not rate my goals over the next two weeks, I will get a reminder email and mobile notification on Friday, April 15th. On Monday, April 18th, my goals will reset and the process will begin again with "Time to rate!" notifications.
  • Monthly: Employees have much more time to work towards large goals by rating and providing coaching feedback on a monthly basis. "Time to rate!" emails and mobile notifications are sent on the first Monday of each month at 8:00 am based on your timezone. Reminder emails and notifications go out on the second to last Friday of the month at 8:00 am. Example, my rating cycle starts with a "Time to rate!" email and mobile notification on Monday, April 4th, 2016. If my goals are not rated over the coming weeks, I will get a reminder on Friday, April 22nd to rate my goals over the next week. My next rating cycle will start on Monday, May 2nd.
